Our firm’s COVID-19 Vaccination in the Workplace Policy

We are committed to keeping everyone safe from COVID-19.  From 1 December 2021 until further notice, only people who have confirmed they’ve received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine will be able to enter our offices – this includes all staff, clients, and contractors.

We understand the importance of vaccination as a key defence in reducing the risks of COVID-19 to people and our New Zealand’s future prosperity. We strongly support any action that will help us remain connected, here in New Zealand and globally.

Our COVID-19 Vaccination in the Workplace Policy states that from 1 December 2021, only people who have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine will be able to enter our offices. This is a key step in keeping our workplace and the people who visit us protected from the risk of COVID-19.

We understand that some remain uncertain about vaccination, do not wish to get vaccinated, or are not able to get vaccinated for medical reasons. Through our policy, we aim to manage the risks these choices create. One of these measures is requesting that everyone visiting our offices must inform their Dawson Harford contact of their vaccination status before they enter our offices.

If someone is not fully vaccinated, we ask that they support our policy by remaining away from our offices, and meeting either via Zoom, phone, email, or at another location.

We acknowledge that the risks associated with COVID-19, and the measures that can be taken to mitigate or eliminate those risks, may change. To adapt and remain proactive, we will review our policy regularly to ensure it reflects any new controls which become available in the future.

Thank you for your support and understanding as we implement our firm’s COVID-19 Vaccination in the Workplace Policy. If you would like to discuss our firm’s policy further, please get in touch with Graham Harford, Director on 021 648 839 / graham.harford@dawsonharford.com.
