Frances advises on a range of corporate, commercial and securities law matters and has experience in a broad range of ICT work, having worked for IBM Australia prior to joining Dawson Harford. She is currently advising corporate clients on securities law compliance and prospectus issues, facility agreements and corporate structuring.
Frances qualified in Australia and is soon to be admitted in both Australia and New Zealand.

- Assisting a leading developer of sports management solutions on a complex IP and software licensing dispute with a major Australian licensee.
- Advising Trustee Executors Limited on the compliance of Credit Union prospectuses with the Securities Act.
- Advised IBM Australia on the implications of government procurement processes for private sector ICT contracting, confidentiality and services agreements, liability in damages for breach of contract, the impact of offshore legislation such as the US anti-corruption laws on IBM’s business in Australia, and wider compliance issues, such as health and safety and trade practices.
